Welcome

Victory Cottage is situated behind the green in Burnham Market, Norfolk's loveliest village, boasting over forty privately owned and run shops specialising in civilised essentials and serious retail therapy. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with miles of unspolit beaches and wild salt marshes punctuated by creeks and small ancient harbours.

Norfolk was Nelson's home county; he was born in Burnham Thorpe and The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market was where he collected his dispatches from the Admiralty. Victory Cottage was renamed after Nelson's flagship to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in 2005.

Comfortably furnished in a stylish, contemporary style with sisal floor coverings throughout, Victory Cottage features the local photography of Harry Cory Wright, and uses predominantly Cath Kidston furnishings. The cottage provides light and spacious accommodation in 3 bedrooms for six adults/children and one baby in year-round comfort. It has an open-plan grassy garden in the front where children can play safely.

"a delightful cottage, already booked for next year!"
